Inge Falke is geboren op 1 Mei 1963 in Oss.

Zij groeide op in een enegiek gezin met haar vier zussen.

Als kind is zij geïnspireerd door haar vader, grafisch kunstenaar.

Zij volgde haar lerarenopleiding aan de “Akademie voor Beeldende vorming” te Tilburg.

Na deze studie, werd haar een beurs verleend om aan de «l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts» in Parijs te kunnen studeren. Nu woont zij nog steeds in Frankrijk.

Haar inspiratie is soms heel dichtbij, zoals b.v rayon X stralen, bagagekluizen, biologische vergrotingen, lichaam en mens uitgebeeld in eigen fantasie.

Zij heeft ook mogen werken in België, in een Internationaal kunstenaarscentrum waar zij veel heeft kunnen werken aan haar zeefdrukken.

Inge Falke est née le premier mai 1963 à Oss aux Pays-Bas.

Elle est issue d’une famille énergique de cinq filles.

Depuis sa jeunesse, elle est inspirée par son père (artiste peinte, graphiste).

Elle a fais ses études comme professeur  à ‘Akademie voor Beeldende vorming’ à Tilburg aux Pays-Bas.

Elle a ensuite obtenue une bourse pour étudier  à l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts à Paris. Elle habite depuis en France.

Elle s’inspire parfois de son expérience quotidienne, tel que par exemple les rayons X, les consignes de gare,  mais laisse aussi parfois libre cours à toute sa fantaisie en redessinant l’Homme et la biologie du corps.

Elle a été invitée en Belgique dans les ateliers du Centre Internationale des artistes où elle pratiquait la sérigraphie.

IngeFalke was born May 1st, 1963 in Oss in the Netherlands. 

She comes from a lively family of five daughters.

 Since childhood, she has been inspired by her father (painter, graphic artist). 

She studied to be a teacher at the 'Akademie voor Beeldende Vorming' in Tilburg, also in the Netherlands.

She then won a scholarship to study at the 'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts in Paris, France and has been living in France ever since.

She finds inspiration in her daily professional life, like in her series on X-rays or left luggage at the train station but also allows herself to express freely her imagination in drawing the human body and its biology.

She was invited to Belgium to the studios of the International Artists Center where she worked in silk screening.
